Your Dreamflight is about to depart for great, historic eras in aviation.  The safety bar will lower automatically.  Please keep your hands and feet inside your flight vehicle and have a delightful journey.

Dreamflight replaced If You Had Wings/If You Could Fly on June 26, 1989.  It used the same Omnimover vehicles as the previous ride but the story focused on the history of aviation.  It started out with a pop-up book depicting flight.  Highlights included people passing through what looked like a giant plane engine.  The songs were composed by Bob Moline, who also wrote Listen to the Land and Energy (You Make the World Go 'Round) for Epcot.

Dreamflight Lyrics
(My audio to this attraction is very poor so I've transcribed it to the best of my ability.  If you can furnish me with a clean copy, please let me know.  Please do not direct me to other sites with lyrics as I have found transcription errors.)

We're gonna take you flyin',
and they'll be no denyin',
this Dreamflight's bound for non-stop fantasies.

From the earliest days of tryin',
on the air we've been relyin',
to lift us high above the deep blue sea.

And before this flight is through,
you'll being soarin' in the skies so blue,
By flying to help to make these dreams come true.
Oh yes.  By flying to help to make these dreams come true.

These new-fangled gizmos called flying machines,
With pilots so willing to dare.
Go looping the loop.
Defying the ground.
Soaring on currents of air.

Hail now to all of these flying machines.
By brave folks just learning to fly.
Up and down.  Around and around.
What a thrill doing stunts in the sky.

Alternating Male and Female Announcer:  The Global Clipper will embark shortly for the era of air travel. Your Dreamflight will span the world, making brief stops in Tokyo, Japan; and Paris, France.

(The vehicles travel past the Global Clipper, complete with fancy table service, view an Asian garden while hearing Japanese music, followed by scenes in Paris as a woman sings.)

Woman Singer:
...Traveling is the new sensation.
Planes and flights and destinations...

Alternating Male and Female Announcer:  Ladies and gentlemen, your Dreamflight will depart immediately for the future. Please prepare for supersonic takeoff.

(At this point, the Omnimovers flew through what looked like a giant jet engine and then through a futuristic city.)

When Delta ceased sponsoring Dreamflight on January 1, 1996, the ride was named Take Flight.  To fit in with the New Tomorrowland theme, it was sponsored by the "Tomorrowland Metro-Retro Society."  The ride closed on January 5, 1998 and was replaced by Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.  The book shelf at the Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen contains a book called A Flight Through Dreams.
